Key Chain from Su-22 - Polish Air Force 507
We give you a part of aviation history: genuine Polish Air Force Sukhoi Su-22 skin.
The Sukhoi Su-22 is an export version of the Su-17 fighter-bomber, designed in the Pavel Sukhoi design bureau in the 1960s. It is distinguished by variable wing geometry, which are spread apart when flying at a lower speed, and when necessary, accelerations slide down and move closer to the fuselage , making the plane resemble an arrowhead flying in the air.
The original concept of the aircraft assumed that it would be capable of attacking ground targets, but also of self-defense and fighting enemy aircraft. Time and the development of military equipment verified this idea, leaving the Su-22 as a bomber.
In the years 1969-1990, a total of 2,867 Sukhoi Su-17 aircraft and its export versions, Su-20 and Su-22, were built, of which 1,165 were delivered to foreign customers. A total of 110 Su-22 aircraft were delivered to Poland between 1984 and 1988.
